Kenny's first trout of 2011
The river opened on June 11 and as anticipated, it was fishy. The trout were crushing streamers and taking the usual fare on the drift. The middle produced many fish in the 22-29 inch range. The upper was trouty and running strong with sockey and also produced 28 and 29″ fish the past two days. The waters are low and clear, making fish spotting easy. Expect the fish to get more challenging very soon unless we get more water with some glacial color back.
